In August of 2003 we bought our first popup camper, a new 2003.5 Coleman by Fleetwood Santa Fe, since named "The Grape Escape". We had been tent campers for many years, and this was a vast improvement. I found a wonderful forum, PopUp Explorer, and learned that there were some improvements that could be made to the stock camper. The maiden voyage of the camper was to Mt Madonna County Park outside of Gilroy, California, the Garlic Capital of the World. The park is less than an hour from my home, and has become my favorite weekend escape. To see pictures of the park, click the "Mt Madonna" link.

After four great years in the popup, we decided that a full hardside travel trailer was in order. We had been looking around for some time, and finally found exactly what we wanted at Roger's Camping Trailers in Fremont, CA.
